Community and Belonging - Sr. Bernie O' Grady
April 8, 2016
The Limerick Diocesan Synod is discerning the will of God and voice of Gods people through reflection and discussion on six themes. These themes were chosen by delegates last October, based on the outcome of a listening process they held in the diocese across Spring 2015. Once themes were chosen, delegates were invited to create proposals to present at Synod in these areas.
At the Limerick Diocesan Synod, a short reflection was presented on each theme before discussion and voting began.
Sr. Bernie O' Grady, Social Worker in Bedford Row Family Project and a Mercy Sister, spoke to us on our first theme on Friday morning: Community and Belonging.
